The Certitek DM-01 Intumescent and Acoustic Acrylic Sealant is a high-performance solution specifically designed and comprehensively tested for sealing gaps between door frames and walls (specifically for use on DorSuite doors). We have moved beyond general international recognition to strictly testing against EN Standards. While standard configurations cover up to 90 minutes, we now hold specific test evidence demonstrating fire resistance of up to 120 minutes when installed as part of a specific system.
Certitek is effective in linear gaps up to 35mm. However, for specific fire ratings, gap size is critical: a 30mm gap is certified for 30, 60, and 90-minute applications. For configurations requiring 120 minutes of protection, please refer specifically to the test report in our Technical Datasheet to ensure compliance.
For standard purchases, please refer to our current RRP Price List. However, for trade customers and bulk orders, we offer specific volume-based pricing. Please contact the Certitek team directly to receive a tailored quote or discuss opening a trade account.
Compliance is the cornerstone of the fire safety industry. Unlike some alternative mastics that rely on withdrawn versions of BS EN 1366-4, Certitek has been extensively tested to the most recent standards. Furthermore, Certitek offers a unique Labelling System to ensure full traceability and auditability of your installation.
The Certitek DM-01 sealant has a guaranteed minimum shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
Yes. The DP-01 packers are not just tested in isolation; they are fire tested as part of the complete System alongside the Certitek DM-01 sealant. This ensures full system compatibility and compliance with BS476, BS EN 1634, and BS EN 1366-4 (2021).
